Terms & Conditions

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing this website (“Site”), making a reservation through our OpenTable link, using Toast to place an order or make a payment, or visiting Seasalt in person, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

Use of Our Website

The content and services on this Site are provided for personal, non-commercial use. Seasalt reserves the right to update or modify the Site at any time without notice.

Reservations Through OpenTable

Reservations made through our OpenTable link are also subject to OpenTable’s Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.

Seasalt receives personal information (such as name, phone number, email address, reservation size, and reservation history) from OpenTable for the purpose of managing your visit.

For reservations that are a no-show or no-call within 24 hours prior to the reservation time, the guest will be automatically charged $50.00 per person to the card on file. Guests charged this fee will receive a Seasalt gift card in an amount equal to half of the cancellation charge, which may be used for a future reservation.

Reservations of five (5) or more guests require a credit card to confirm and hold the reservation. Credit card details are entered through OpenTable using a secure server; Seasalt does not have access to or view the full credit card number.

Point-of-Sale Transactions (Toast)

In-person and certain online orders may be processed using Toast, our point-of-sale and payment platform. Payments and digital receipts made through Toast are subject to Toast’s own Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.

While Seasalt may receive limited information necessary to fulfill your order (such as contact information, order details, or email addresses used for receipts or marketing preferences), Seasalt does not store full payment card numbers and does not control how Toast independently collects, stores, or secures payment data.

Marketing Communications

By making a reservation through OpenTable, visiting our restaurant, providing your email through our website, providing your email through Toast (such as for digital receipts or online orders), or accessing Seasalt’s Wi-Fi network, you consent to being added to Seasalt’s marketing list. You can generally anticipate receiving marketing emails approximately once per week.

You may unsubscribe at any time by using the link in any email or by contacting us directly.

Wi-Fi Access (Beambox)

Seasalt provides complimentary Wi-Fi to guests through Beambox. By accessing the Wi-Fi network, you agree to Beambox’s Terms & Conditions. Your email address may be shared with Seasalt for marketing purposes.

Photography & Media Use

Seasalt occasionally captures photography or video inside the restaurant and on the outdoor patio for promotional use on our website, social media, and marketing materials. While images primarily focus on the restaurant itself, guests may appear incidentally.

If you prefer not to be photographed, please notify a team member during your visit.

User-Generated Content (UGC) Policy

Seasalt may repost, share, or feature content that guests publicly post on social media and tag @seasaltannapolis or otherwise reference the restaurant. By tagging Seasalt in publicly viewable content, you grant us permission to repost or share that content on our social media channels, website, or marketing materials, with credit to your original post when appropriate.

If you prefer that your content not be shared, please contact us at marketing@seasaltannapolis.com, and we will make reasonable efforts to remove it where feasible.

Food Allergies & Dietary Restrictions

General

Seasalt prepares food in a commercial kitchen where cross-contact with allergens may occur. While we do our best to accommodate dietary needs, we cannot guarantee that all requests can be fulfilled or that any dish will be free from allergens or cross-contact.

We do our best to support a wide range of dietary needs but cannot guarantee all requests can be fulfilled. Please notify your server for guidance.

Gluten-Free Options

A majority of the menu, including several desserts, is gluten-free or can be modified upon request. Guests should speak with their server for available gluten-free options and possible modifications.

Allergies

Guests with allergies, including seafood or shellfish, should inform their server before ordering. We will prepare meals as safely as possible when feasible. However, due to the nature of our kitchen environment, Seasalt cannot guarantee an allergen-free space or the absence of cross-contact.

Menu items, ingredients, and offerings may change at any time without notice.

Guest Conduct & Right to Refuse Service

Seasalt is committed to providing a safe, welcoming, and respectful environment for all guests and staff. By visiting the restaurant, bar, or any Seasalt event, guests agree to conduct themselves in a respectful and orderly manner.

Seasalt reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to:

  • Refuse service to any guest for inappropriate or disruptive behavior

  • Refuse service to any guest, provided such refusal is not based on federal or state protected classes (including but not limited to race, religion, or disability)

  • Stop serving alcohol to any guest who appears intoxicated or is behaving irresponsibly

  • Ask any guest to leave the premises if their behavior is unsafe, aggressive, discriminatory, threatening, or otherwise disruptive to staff or other patrons

  • Remove individuals who interfere with the comfort, safety, or enjoyment of other guests

  • Enforce all relevant alcohol service laws and safety policies

Examples of behavior that may result in refusal of service or removal include, but are not limited to:

  • Excessive intoxication

  • Harassment of staff or guests

  • Disrespectful language or conduct

  • Physical aggression or threats

  • Destruction of property

  • Refusal to comply with staff instructions

Guests who are asked to leave the premises will remain responsible for payment of their bill.

Seasalt may also limit or modify service hours or access to the premises due to safety concerns, staffing, or legal regulations.

Safety & Assumption of Risk

By entering Seasalt, guests acknowledge that they do so at their own risk. While Seasalt takes reasonable measures to maintain safe premises, accidents may occur. Guests agree that Seasalt is not responsible for injuries, losses, or damages resulting from ordinary risks associated with dining or visiting a restaurant and bar, except where such liability cannot be waived under applicable law.

Guests are responsible for exercising reasonable care while on the premises, including watching their step, using caution in crowded areas, and complying with staff instructions. Seasalt is not liable for injuries or damages resulting from guest negligence, failure to follow staff directions, unsafe conduct, or circumstances beyond the restaurant’s control.

In the event of an emergency or injury, Seasalt will contact appropriate medical or emergency services. Any resulting medical expenses are the responsibility of the injured guest unless otherwise required by law.

Menus, Pricing & Availability

All menus, pricing, specials, and availability are subject to change without notice. We make reasonable efforts to ensure accuracy, but online menu information may occasionally differ from in-restaurant offerings. Ingredients, preparations, and menu items may change at any time based on seasonality, availability, or chef discretion.

Gift Cards

Seasalt gift cards are refundable and do not expire, unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase or as required by applicable law. Additional terms and conditions may apply as provided at the point of sale.

Private Dining & Large Parties

Seasalt offers a private dining room for up to 14 guests and a semi-private event space (upper dining room/lounge space) for up to 40 guests.

  • The upper dining room/lounge space has a minimum spend of $2,500 (Sunday–Thursday), plus tax and a 20% gratuity.

  • A full restaurant buyout (Sunday–Thursday) requires a minimum spend of $10,000, plus tax and a 20% gratuity.

  • Deposits for private dining and large parties are generally due upon booking.

  • Cancellations for large parties made within seven (7) days of the event date may result in forfeiture of 100% of the deposit.

  • Special menus for groups are available and are curated based on group size, timing, season, and dining preferences.

Specific terms, including deposit amounts and cancellation details, may be confirmed at the time of booking and may vary based on the nature of the event.

Guests wishing to purchase or consume alcoholic beverages must be at least 21 years of age and may be required to present a valid United States government-issued photo ID. Minors are welcome in dining areas when accompanied by an adult under the age of 12.
